Almudena is passionate about change and growth of individuals and organisations. She has extensively worked with companies, organisations, universities and individuals in social innovation processes, change management and promotion of critical thinking and action towards improvement.
As partner (co-founder) of Innovation for Change and Impact Hub Madrid, she has supported in particular the growth and internationalization of startups and has participated in the development of more than 300 companies with social impact. She also directed the participation of 8 European coworking and innovation centers in the European Mentoring program of the EOI, Ministry of Economy and Finance. She is now engaged in the field of digital change as cofounder of Blockchain España.
Almudena has been a consultant to the Bundesbank and the European Commission, head of European Affairs at Banco de España and has hold several senior management positions at international companies such as GE, Fortis Bank/BNP Parisbas (Brussels).
She has also been a scientific researcher at the Max Planck Institute in Hamburg and CEPS in Brussels where she directed the ECRI institute. University law professor since 2000 in several European universities (Humboldt Berlin, Hamburg, ICADE) she is currently professor of non-market strategy at Instituto de Empresa (IE), professor in social innovation at the Master's Degree of the University of Alcalá de Henares (CIFF), Professor of Lifelonglearning, coaching and mindfulness at the GAIA Master Programme.
Almudena is Doctor Iuris from the University of Hamburg, Max-Planck-Institut, BA of Law and business law from ICADE and Coach certified by RSC London, UK and Practitioner at NLP (IHP). She speaks five languages and is a regular speaker at international conferences.
She believes in the power of cooperation, open innovation and delivery through happiness.
